These students went head-to-head against more than 2,400 teams nationwide to demonstrate their financial fitness. Tasks included managing a schedule, filing taxes, paying bills and managing credit cards.

The qualifying teams represent the following high schools:

Albert Campbell Collegiate Institute – Scarborough, Ont.
Apponequet High School – Lakeville, Mass.
Clements High School – Sugarland, Texas
Entrepreneurship Focus Program – Lincoln, Neb.
Frisco High School – Frisco, Texas
Homewood-Flossmoor High School – Flossmoor, Ill.
Kamiakin High School – Kennewick, Wash.
Mount Rainier High School – Des Moines, Wash.

If your students didn’t participate or didn’t qualify as a finalist in the first online challenge, there is still time to compete! A second challenge will run January 4-29, where an additional eight finalist teams will be selected. In addition to student scholarships, advisors to the top three teams will receive a $2,500 classroom grant.
