Patricia Gomez

Hello everyone my name is Patricia Gomez and I am very excited to be able to represent the 2010-2011 Mass-DECA as one of your state officers.  I have been involved in DECA for the past two years at southeastern regional High School. Sophomore year I won the t-shirt design contest and had the opportunity to attend to ICDC in California. Being part of this association has taught me many things, It taught me that A leader leads by example, whether he intends to or not. Also DECA taught me to be more confident and more determined in life. 

Outside of school I love to hang out with my friends and family. I play volleyball, tennis and softball. I am currently the captain of the varsity volleyball team. Other hobbies of mine include swimming, traveling and ofcorse shopping.  I also travel a lot specially summer time it gives me the opportunity to meet new people.

Many People would describe me as a creative, outgoing, optimistic and reliable person. My long term goals are not only to serve MASS DECA well, but to attend a college or university with a major in creative advertising. So far DECA has been a big concept in my life, earning this position has been extremely rewarding and I am so excited for the upcoming year!
