Matt Storms

Hello MASS DECA.  My name is Matt Storms and I will be one of your Massachusetts State Officers for the 2009-2010 year.  I am honored to serve as an officer and hope that I can instill the passion I have for DECA in all its members.  DECA is an organization I have been involved with through all four of my years in high school although I only began to compete two years ago.  As a leader in my chapter the choice to run for State Officer in my senior year seemed right and now unlike most students I get to experience all DECA has to offer for one more year.

Even though high school is over for me, DECA is not and I am very excited to work with the organization and my team for the next year.  In the fall I will attend Worcester State College for business and hope that my years in DECA will help me to find a good career down the road. I am a very outgoing person and love all kinds of sports, especially hockey.

I am a movie buff and love watching all movies but comedy more than anything else.  I’d consider myself an outgoing, driven, funny person who loves a good time.  I enjoy meeting new people and being a leader.  I hope to make this DECA year the best ever.
