Steven Inacio

Hello DECA members! My name is Steven Inacio and I recently graduated from Taunton High School. I am currently enrolled to Johnson & Wales with a major in accounting. I have been involved in DECA for the past two years and it has been an absolutely thrilling experience for me, this being because it has all the activities that interest me most, such as business, competition, and it’s loads of fun.

Awards I have received from DECA are first place at districts and top ten at States for the 07-08 school year. I am always trying new things because when I try I succeed and if at first I don’t succeed I try and try again. I enjoy doing many different activities such as Flying, Boating, Fishing, and many more. I can be a quiet person at first but I can have loads of fun once I get to know someone. I enjoy going to the movies, playing board games, and just hanging out with friends. I am not a sports person and have not been involved with any in school but I will support my hometown teams.

Anytime I get the opportunity to help someone I enjoy doing so. A few things that I am looking to get into are diving, traveling, and skydiving. I will be skydiving on my eighteenth birthday in July. I always enjoy a thrill as it keeps me up and going I and am always searching for more. I am pleased to be a part of Mass DECA’s State Action Team 51 and hope to accomplish many things.

I believe in the future that I am planning
for myself in the field of marketing
and management, and in the opportunities
which my vocation offers.
I believe in fulfilling the highest measure of service to my vocation, my fellow beings,
my country and my God-
that by so doing,
I will be rewarded with personal satisfaction
and material wealth.
I believe in the democratic philosophies
of private enterprise and competition, and in the freedoms of this nation-that these
philosophies allow for the fullest development
of my individual abilities.
I believe that by doing my best to live
according to these high principles,
I will be of greater service both to myself
and to mankind.
